No science background is
necessary. If you are willing to help, and you are enthusiastic,
dedicated, and patient then you’ve got what it takes to be a mentor.
How much time is required of me weekly?
You will meet with your mentee once
a week for approximately two hours.
What is the length of my commitment?
The program runs during the course
of an academic school year. It concludes in April with a teaching
lesson in an elementary class and a MentorPower Fair.
What kind of support will I receive as a
mentor?
The MentorPower staff will provide
training workshops, resources, and continual support.
How do I come up with a Project Idea?
You and your mentee will mutually
choose a project. MentorPower can help you with this process.
